Introduction To Fly FishingLearn the basics of fly fishing from our resident anglers Peter and Nathan. They will teach you about the gear you need, fishing techniques, fly selection, knot tying, casting, retrieving techniques, how to fight and land a fish, show you what the trout eat and how to read the river as well as Q & A.
The experience will give you a better chance to catch our resident brown and rainbow trout. Minimum age 14 years old. ($110, 2 hrs)

Pottery: Introduction to Wheel ThrowingSpend about an hour with your hands in the clay- from clay preparation, centering, and learning to pull even walls, you will learn the basics of throwing pottery on the wheel. Choose up to 3 of your pieces that we will glaze and fire for you. ($175, 1.5 hrs)

Make A Tray- Small or LargeIn this class, we will roll out a slab, cut it to size, and decorate with your choice of stamps, ferns, wheat, lavender or leaves. Kids can even imprint their hand for a special gift! You can choose to make a rectangle, oval or circular tray. We will glaze and fire your pieces for you. ($45 small, $55 large, 30 mins)

Horse TreksOur horse treks take you through stunning vistas and over a range of different terrains. We offer 1 -2 hour treks for 2-8 people. With a herd of fourteen experienced horses and many terrain options, our friendly and flexible guides will cater to your skill level and expectations. ($90-$180, 1-2 hrs)

Lead Rein Horse RideThe perfect intro to horse riding for young people. You will be able to lead your horse but have the safety of a staff member walking beside with a lead rein to ensure you have a fun and engaging time. Available Saturdays or by arrangement for groups. Ages 7+ (80 kg limit). ($30, 15 mins)

Pony ExperiencesMeet us below the conference center towards the river for a 15 minute experience of grooming our miniature horses or ponies and going for a ride around the corral. Ages 2 to 6, 30kg limit. Available Saturdays, for other days please text 0272299004 to register interest the day before. ($10, 15 mins)

Homesteading ExperienceExperience homesteading with a guided tour of the gardens - learn about growing quality organic crops to feed the family. Dig up new potatoes and seasonally other fresh produce. Collect the eggs while hearing about keeping chickens and improving your soil. Suitable for all ages. ($15, 1 hr)
