From pine forest walks to river views our horse treks take you through stunning vistas and over a range of different terrains. You can book a trek independently of staying at the farm. We operate year-round and offer 1 -2 hour treks for 2-8 people, and where possible we offer half hour lead rein rides for younger children. With a herd of fourteen experienced horses and many terrain options, our friendly and flexible guides will cater to your skill level and expectations. Some of the trekking options include a refreshing ride through the neighbouring forest, the farm and riverside loop, or a three hour exploration to the far corners of our property.  

Treks require a minimum of 2 participants, where possible we will group your booking with others.

Mohaka River Farm is a 45 minute drive from Napier and an hour from Taupo.
